WIN-VIET's Dual-Factory Strategy for a Broader and More Reliable Manufacturing Platform
Dear Customers and Partners,
My name is Denny Wang, Chairman of WIN-VIET PRECISION MACHINERY CO., LTD.
First, I would like to sincerely thank our customers for their continued trust in WIN-VIET.
Your expectations for consistent quality, reliable delivery, broader product support, and long-term supply security have encouraged us to continuously strengthen our manufacturing operations and invest in the future.
Through this letter, I would like to introduce WIN-VIET's dual-factory development strategy and explain how it will create long-term value for our customers.
Factory 1: Strengthening Our Established Investment Casting and Machining Base
Factory 1 is WIN-VIET's established manufacturing and delivery base. It currently supports investment casting, CNC machining, thread machining, and the production of our mature product lines.
The factory has developed an integrated manufacturing process covering investment casting, machining, finished-product inspection, and packaging.
Factory 1 will continue to expand its mechanical manufacturing and machining capabilities in order to support existing customer programs, volume orders, and OEM projects.
Its principal product portfolio includes:
- Stainless steel Class 150 threaded and screwed pipe fittings manufactured in accordance with MSS SP-114 and ISO 4144;
- Pipe fittings manufactured from ASTM A312 stainless steel pipe;
- Pipe nipples manufactured from ASTM A53 carbon steel pipe;
- Stainless steel quick couplings and cam & groove couplings;
- Stainless steel ball valves, including 1000 WOG and 2000 WOG series;
- ASTM A216 grade carbon steel castings;
- OEM investment castings and drawing-based machined components.
Factory 1 will not simply maintain its existing production. We will continue to strengthen CNC machining, complex-component manufacturing, multi-product support, and volume-delivery capability.
This established facility will also provide technical, machining, quality, and supply-chain support for the new products planned for Factory 2.
Factory 2: A New Platform for Products and Manufacturing Processes
Factory 2 is located directly opposite our existing manufacturing site.
WIN-VIET plans to construct a five-story modern manufacturing facility with a total floor area of approximately 30,000 square meters. The new facility is expected to progressively enter mass production by the end of 2027.
Factory 2 is not intended to simply duplicate our existing operation. It represents a specialized expansion based on different manufacturing processes, product categories, international standards, and customer applications.
The new facility is planned around four major product platforms.
1. Butt-Weld Fittings
- The planned product range includes:
- 45-degree and 90-degree elbows;
- 180-degree returns;
- Equal and reducing tees;
- Concentric and eccentric reducers;
- Caps and other butt-weld fittings.
For the U.S. market, we plan to develop our manufacturing system around ASME B16.9-2024, which addresses factory-made wrought butt-welding fittings and includes dimensional, material, tolerance, testing, end-preparation, and marking requirements for products such as elbows, tees, reducers, and caps.
Planned wall-thickness options include Schedule 10S, 20S, 40S, and 80S. Final product coverage will be determined according to applicable material standards, customer requirements, and technical validation.
For the European market, we plan to focus on EN 10253-4:2025, covering wrought austenitic and austenitic-ferritic stainless steel butt-weld fittings with specific inspection requirements, including Type A and Type B products and metric wall thicknesses such as 2–3 mm.
For the Japanese market, product development will reference JIS B 2311:2024 for steel butt-welding pipe fittings and JIS G 3459:2021 for stainless steel pipes.
By planning around American, European, and Japanese standards, we aim to progressively establish a butt-weld fitting platform capable of supporting different international markets.
2. Flanges
Factory 2 is planned to support American, Japanese, and European standard flanges.
- The product range will be developed according to different:
- Size ranges;
- Pressure classes;
- Connection types;
- Facing configurations;
- Material grades;
- Industrial applications.
The planned manufacturing platform will include forging or press-forging, press forming, heat treatment, CNC turning, drilling, and sealing-face finishing.
Final standards, manufacturing routes, and commercial product ranges will be released after technical evaluation, equipment confirmation, and sample validation.
3. Sanitary Fittings
- The planned sanitary fitting portfolio includes:
- Sanitary elbows;
- Sanitary tees;
- Sanitary reducers;
- Sanitary fittings;
- Clamp, weld, and other connection components.
Development will focus on dimensional accuracy, internal and external surface quality, surface finish, cleanliness, weld quality, and compatibility with food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and hygienic fluid-handling applications.
4. Sanitary Valves
The sanitary valve platform will initially focus on sanitary butterfly valves in different designs and connection configurations.
Additional sanitary valves and related components will be introduced progressively, with particular attention to body machining, sealing accuracy, surface treatment, assembly quality, pressure testing, and sealing performance.
Planned Manufacturing Processes and Equipment
To support the future product platforms at Factory 2, WIN-VIET plans to progressively introduce:
- Tube cutting and raw-material preparation equipment;
- Hydraulic presses;
- Elbow pushing and forming machines;
- Tee, reducer, and cap forming equipment;
- Forging or press-forging equipment;
- Sizing, calibration, and heat-treatment systems;
- CNC turning, drilling, and precision machining;
- Beveling and end-preparation equipment;
- Surface treatment, polishing, and cleaning systems;
- Dimensional, wall-thickness, pressure, and sealing inspection equipment.
Each product line will go through technical evaluation, process development, equipment commissioning, tooling development, sample validation, and trial production before entering volume manufacturing.
Two Coordinated Sites, Not Two Separate Factories
Factory 1 and Factory 2 will not operate as two isolated manufacturing units.
Factory 1 will continue to strengthen WIN-VIET's established capabilities in investment casting, machining, threaded pipe fittings, quick couplings, ball valves, pipe nipples, and OEM components.
Factory 2 will focus on butt-weld fittings, flanges, sanitary fittings, and sanitary valves.
The two facilities will share and coordinate:
- Engineering and product-development experience;
- CNC machining resources;
- Material management and supply-chain support;
- Quality-control and inspection systems;
- Customer-program management;
- Volume-production and delivery capabilities.
Our objective is to provide customers with a broader and more coordinated product portfolio rather than a single isolated product.
Our Goal Is to Become a Long-Term Manufacturing Partner
Future manufacturing competition will not be determined by price or production volume alone.
Customers increasingly evaluate whether a supplier can:
- Maintain consistent product quality;
- Expand product-support capabilities;
- Develop new products effectively;
- Secure lead times and volume supply;
- Understand different international standards;
- Build a transparent and sustainable long-term relationship.
This is the reason behind WIN-VIET's dual-factory strategy.
By combining Factory 1's established manufacturing foundation with Factory 2's planned product expansion, we aim to develop WIN-VIET into an integrated manufacturing partner for industrial piping products, hygienic fluid-handling products, and OEM investment cast and machined components.
You Are Warmly Welcome to Visit WIN-VIET
On behalf of WIN-VIET, I warmly invite customers and partners from around the world to visit our manufacturing operations in Vietnam.
You may visit our operating Factory 1 to review our investment casting, CNC machining, and existing product capabilities, as well as the Factory 2 project site directly opposite the current facility.
We look forward to discussing long-term sourcing, new product development, supply-chain cooperation, and OEM manufacturing opportunities with you.
Thank you for your trust.
